Opening Session. Welcome. Housekeeping. Introductions and flash interviews of participants. Introduction of the 2020 Habitat X Fellows. Four-minute previews of Wednesday sessions.

Laying the Groundwork. A focused planning forum guided by the Habitat X faculty. We’ll invite participants to identify the topics that characterize the current state of the home performance industry, and we’ll use this analysis to refine the sessions to follow over the next three days.

Interviews. Today we’ll seat the 2020 Habitat X Fellows and learn more about their careers and trajectories. We’ll save time for ample Q&A.

Morning Summary. We summarize work from the previous day, do a quick synthesis of the information, and identify interests and expectations that guide the day’s sessions. The faculty and presenters deliver four-minute previews of the Thursday sessions.

Strategic Analysis. We perform an industry-by-industry analysis of current opportunities for success and barriers to implementation. The outcome will be talking points and guidance for industry leaders, regulators, and policy-makers.
Lunch. In the lobby outside Inspiration Hall. Check out the view of the Bridger Mountains!
Open Space Presentations: we save this slot for topics and presentations by participants. Evaluations show that this crowd-sourced session is often the MOST appreciated session of the conference.

Roundtable. We summarize our work and focus our intents in an inclusive planning process. The outcome is actionable guidance for everyone in the room.
Break. Tour the engineering wonders of Norm Asbjornson Hall.
Review the draft Action Plan for 2020. This becomes a working document to which everyone can contribute after the conference. We also lay the groundwork for the next year in the Habitat X networkRoundtable.
Picnic in the Park. We travel to one of Bozeman’s beautiful parks to a nearby park for a farewell picnic and goodbyes to old friends.
If you’re still in town, you’re invited to join us for one of two optional outdoor excursions after the conference.
We’ll plan a no-host dinner for Saturday night.
