The Habitat X Conferences borrow from traditional conferences by providing ample educational sessions and networking opportunities. But we take the professional conference several steps further by providing the opportunity to truly focus on the work at hand in ways that can never happen at large events.

We create active and engaged sessions that include industry-specific inquiry, active and relevant brainstorming, and solution-oriented outcomes. Unlike many conferences, we actually get some good work done. Plus — everyone goes home with an individually-crafted Strategic Plan that they can apply to their own industry.

We provide ample time and structure for networking and socializing, including off-site receptions and dinners. For many attendees, these opportunities to connect with well-placed colleagues are the primary reason to attend a Habitat X Conference.

We locate the Habitat X Conferences in interesting and comfortable venues where you can relax, be productive, and enjoy yourself.

We provide follow-on support by including you in the structured year-round network of Habitat X professionals.

Interviews

We schedule the free-wheeling Habitat X interviews for the last session of the day, so we can all gather, relax, and hear what others have to say. We try to seat people for interviews who have extraordinary stories to tell, and who we believe can offer relevant guidance for the other people in the room. Unlike the Panel Discussions, we don’t record or re-broadcast the interviews because we like the frank and open dialogue that thrives when the conversation stays in the room.

Industry Roundtables

We get some of our best work done in the Roundtables. Many participants regard these sessions as their opportunity to go back to college for a few days and focus on learning that’s truly relevant within their current organizations. You’ll work side-by-side with industry experts to drill down into the subjects that follow your industry. We often move these Roundtables onto the Habitat X online platform and continue the discussions year-round.

Technical Workshops

At the Habitat X Conferences, we don’t focus on technology for its own sake. This is not the place, for example, to come get trained as a technician. But when we see important new technologies that are changing industries, we are extremely interested in bringing these tools to the people in the Habitat X network. Our goal is to show you where technology is headed so you can position yourself or your organization to take advantage of new tools and techniques.
