Archived: The Habitat X Summer National Conferences are designed to be dynamic training experiences that will move you to the next stage in your career or business. The next Habitat X Summer National Conference is scheduled for Tuesday July 30 through Friday August 2, 2013.
This much-anticipated event will be one part conference, one part technical training, and one part industry summit. Borrowing from the best of each format, we’ll create a blended training environment that is both memorable and effective. You can expect a potent mix of technical training, personal skill refinement, and industry brainstorming that will change the way you approach your work.
At the Habitat X Conferences, we often work in small groups that allow you to learn directly from the experts.
The Program
The 2013 Summer National Conference will follow three tracks, with topics of relevance to anyone who works in the field of sustainable housing.

- Business and Market Transformation
- Tools and Techniques for Home Performance
You can pick and choose from among these tracks, or follow a single track the entire week.
The Summer National Conference is approved for 16 continuing education credits from the Building Performance Institute.
Faculty
Faculty members this year include Habitat X founder Chris Dorsi, respected green building advocate Ann Edminster (recently nominated as the ACI Woman of the Year), technology maven J West of CEDA Weatherization, and media specialist Ben Cichowski of WxTV.
This year’s guest presenters and panelists include Don MacOdrum, Bill Spohn, Tiger Adolf, Gary Klein, Kevin Beck, Alex Glenn, Steve Byers, Keith Williams, and Jim Gunshinan, Chandler von Schrader, and other respected experts from around North America.
