Kevin Kennedy is the Director of the Center for Environmental Health at Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics in Kansas City. Kevin has spent 25 years in environmental science and health and is well respected across North America as an instructor and developer of systematic and comprehensive environmental assessment methods for home hazards and linking home performance with occupant health, melding a strong background in environmental health and hygiene with the complicated reality of whole-house remediation. He holds a Masters in Public Health from the University of Kansas, Department of Preventive Medicine, and a BA in Natural History and Environmental Science from the University of Kansas. On top of this, he’s said to be a certified science teacher and an experienced restoration carpenter and woodworker.
